The segment's installed systems integrate the management, operation and control of building control systems, such as temperature, ventilation, humidity, fire safety and security. The segment's technical and facility management services provide a suite of integrated solutions to improve building operations and maintenance. In March 2005, the Company sold its engine electronics business to Valeo. In March 2005, the Company sold its Johnson Controls World Services Inc. subsidiary to IAP Worldwide Services, Inc.
