The Company operates more than 2,500 daily departures throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia, together with ExpressJet Airlines, Inc. (operating as Continental Express and referred to as ExpressJet) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Continental Micronesia, Inc. (CMI). ExpressJet is a wholly owned subsidiary of ExpressJet Holdings, Inc., from which Continental Airlines purchases seat capacity. As of December 31, 2004, Continental Airlines flew to 130 United States and 113 international destinations and offered additional connecting service through alliances with various carriers. The Company directly served 18 European cities, seven South American cities, Tel Aviv, Hong Kong and Tokyo as of December 31, 2004. Through its Guam hub, CMI provides service in the western Pacific, including service to Japanese cities.
