The forest products segment manages the Company's forest resources of approximately two million acres of timberland in Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and Alabama, and manufactures a range of building products, including lumber, particleboard, medium-density fiberboard (MDF), gypsum wallboard and fiberboard. The financial services segment provides financial services in the areas of consumer and commercial banking, real estate development and insurance. The Company's significant subsidiaries are TIN Inc., Temple-Inland Financial Services Inc., Guaranty Holdings Inc. I and Guaranty Bank.
