Its services and products include local exchange services, wireless communications, long-distance services, Internet services, satellite television services, telecommunications equipment, and directory advertising and publishing. The Company's services and products are marketed under the SBC brand name, as well as several other brands, including Cingular Wireless (Cingular), through SBC's joint venture with BellSouth Corporation (BellSouth); SBC Yahoo!, through its alliance with Yahoo!, Inc., and SBC Dish Network through its agreement with EchoStar Communications Corp. (EchoStar). SBC has four operating segments: Wireline, Cingular, Directory and International. On January 25, 2005, SBC's subsidiary Sterling Commerce, Inc. acquired Yantra Corporation (Yantra). Yantra is a provider of distributed order management and supply chain fulfillment solutions.
