During the fiscal year ended September 30, 2004 (fiscal 2004), the Company closed 43,567 homes with an average sales price approximating $240,800. Through its financial services operations, the Company provides mortgage banking and title agency services to homebuyers in many of its homebuilding markets. DHI Mortgage, it's wholly owned subsidiary, provides mortgage financing services to purchasers of homes it builds and sells. Its subsidiary title companies serve as title insurance agents by providing title insurance policies, examination and closing services primarily to purchasers of homes it builds and sells.
