Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. is the holding company parent of Anheuser-Busch, Incorporated (ABI), a beer brewer. The Company is also the parent corporation to a number of subsidiaries that conduct various other business operations. The Company's operations are comprised of five principal business segments: domestic beer, international beer, packaging, entertainment and other. For the year ended December 31, 2004, domestic beer contributed 76%, international beer contributed 5.4%, packaging contributed 9.4% and entertainment contributed 6.6% to the Company's consolidated net sales. Worldwide sales of the Company's beer brands aggregated 116.8 million barrels during 2004. In July 2004, the Company acquired Harbin Brewery Group, a brewer in China. Harbin Brewery Group has 13 breweries in northeast China.
